Hey hey what you know about that Play it cool he don’t know his own facts Had to stay in school to learn about that Relapse relapse relapse Relax what’s the hurry? Modern life taught us all how to worry On the snap I’m tryna tell my story On the snap I’m tryna tell my story Hey hey hey hey it’s all good, it’s all good Hey hey hey hey it’s all good, it’s all good Weed helps me be absent minded Reality at half speed how I like it Weed helps me be open minded Reality at half speed how I like it We in a different space now I landed with my face down, my face down But this place will do for now, I settle down Thoughts in order, I write them down. Pen to paper I won’t drown, I won’t drown Pen to paper I won’t drown, I won’t drown in my self pity I write it down, and clear it out. Hey hey what you know about that Play it cool he don’t know his own facts Had to stay in school to learn about that Relapse relapse relapse Relax what’s the hurry? Modern life taught us all how to worry On the snap I’m tryna tell my story On the snap I’m tryna tell my story My judgement false His is the truth I tried too long My own pursuits Got me nowhere Life is a hell sometimes Please beware I’ve got so much growing to do, I pack a bowl with vices trying to uplift my mood Escaping lonely thoughts like vapors filling up my room And I share what’s on my brain in case you feel it too Hey hey what you know about that Play it cool he don’t know his own facts Had to stay in school to learn about that Relapse relapse relapse Relax what’s the hurry? Modern life taught us all how to worry On the snap I’m tryna tell my story On the snap I’m tryna tell my story

about

This song shares my struggle with mental health, as I call on God to replace my broken will. I produced the entire song myself, and it took two years. I am in college studying Engineering; I've made music and taken classes for three years. I use cannabis every day to be more productive and be in a better headspace. But I worry about the long term effects to my mind. Often lonely thoughts swirl in my head for hours. So, I get high and write, play piano, produce music- these things engage my brain in constructive thoughts.
